Scope and Contents
This collection consists of a book of poetry entitled Snowy Egret Suite, given to Stetson Kennedy, a Florida author, folklorist, and historian. Also included in this collection is a copy of Ivy Bigbee: Fables for our time, from the Jacksonville Museum of Contemporary Art, “Ivy Bigbee: Stilled Lives,” an artist statement, and miscellaneous photographs.

Biographical or Historical Information
Ivy Cave Bigbee (also known as Ivy Spencer Bigbee) was born on July 3, 1947 in Miami, Florida. She attended the Interlochen Arts Academy, Michigan State University, and the University of North Florida. She has produced many publications, exhibits, commemoratives, and works of art, including a photograph for a POW/MIA commemorative stamp commissioned by the U.S. Postal Department. Her exhibit “Faith’s Foundation” is on permanent display at the Offices of the City Council in Jacksonville, Florida.
