Biographical or Historical Information
The Oliva Tobacco Co. was formed in 1934 by brothers Angel Oliva, Sr., and brothers Jose and Emilio Suarez. It bought and sold Cuban and U.S. tobacco to cigar makers and other tobacco using businesses in Tampa and elsewhere in the U.S.The business was incorported in 1946.
