Abstract

Photographs taken by Othar Cortland Wamsley, a soldier with the 157th Indiana Volunteer Regiment in Tampa and Port Tampa during the Spanish-American War, 1898. Wamsley contracted malaria in Tampa and never got to Cuba. Photographs in the collection relate to military sites, ports, and local affairs.
