Abstract
Images in this collection depict military camp life of officers stationed in Tampa during the Spanish American War, as well as the innerworkings of the Port of Tampa during the period. Identified regiments include: 4th Cavalry, 69th New York, and 32nd. Unidentified troops, cavalry, medical officers, bugle players, officers, and Red Cross officials are represented in the photographs. Also pictured are ships, weaponry, and military drills. All photographs are dated 1898.
