Biographical or Historical Information
The Ensminger Brothers, Jefferson and Madison were born in Iowa, in 1845. Sons of photographer, E.M. Ensminger, they would alslo develop a successful a photograhy business in Iowa, before moving to Central Florida in the 1880s, where they continued their business photographing everyday life in Central Florida.http://www.pioneerphotographers.com/files/Iowa/Ensminger.html

Abstract
A collection of photographs taken by the Ensminger Brothers in Florida while soldiers trained before sailing to Cuba to fight in the Spanish American War. The photographs in this collection were later purchased by Sarah Criggal and her sister, who were visiting Florida from Britain.
