Biographical / Historical

Keith Roberts first moved to Tampa in 1977, where he became involved in LGBTQ+ activism after coming out as a gay man. Throughout his career, Roberts served as spokesman for the Florida Human Rights Task Force in an effort to fight against legal discrimination of the LGBTQ+ community. Roberts works as a lawyer and has represented clients who faced discrimination due to AIDS status and sexual orientation. Roberts is also one of the founding members of Tampa's Gay and Lesbian Film Festival.
